Privacy Policy

No fine prints, no gimmick.

We are also very conscious about our privacy. That's why we have a no nonsense privacy policy that we know you'll feel comfortable with:

• Lookups are kept by name and shown to anyone who looks up the same name. Our own records of a lookup never say who made it.
• To allow one new lookup every 30 seconds, your IP address is held for 30 seconds after each new lookup, then forgotten.
• My favorites are kept in your own browser and never reach us.
• We use Google Analytics to count visits. It sets cookies, and sends Google the pages you open, which includes the names you look up, along with your browser and approximate location. Google's privacy policy covers that data.
• We limit how often each address can start a new lookup, to keep bots and scripts from abusing the service, as per our Terms Of Service.
• Apart from what Google Analytics collects, we will not sell, share or distribute information regarding you or your searches. (no, not even for a million bucks)
